ATSE 2017 New Fellow: Dr Lachlan Blackhall FTSE

Dr Blackhall is an expert in the control of complex systems as they apply to distributed renewable energy generation and storage. He has established a successful company that has gained international recognition in this field, also fosters outreach programs in developing countries and promotes innovation at the organisational level. In 2015 he won the inaugural Batterham Medal, an early career award which acknowledges a graduate engineer who has achieved substantial peer/industry recognition for his/her work in the past five years.
